Your budget stays on your phone.
You can use the whole app without an account, without a network connection, and without handing your finances to anyone. Cloud backup exists if you want it, and is entirely optional.
How it works
Every category is a bucket. Money goes in, spending comes out, and whatever is left sits there until you spend it or move it somewhere else. When a bucket runs dry you can cover it from one with room to spare — and the app says where the money came from.
Buckets either carry over or reset each month, and you choose which. Christmas quietly fills up all year; a monthly spending limit starts fresh.
What it does not do
- No ads and no trackers. There is no advertising software of any kind in the app.
- No bank connection. It cannot reach your accounts or move money. You enter or import transactions yourself.
- Nothing is sold or shared. Your financial information is not a product.
- Receipt photos never leave your phone, even with cloud backup switched on.
Getting it
Buckets & Bucks is in closed testing on Google Play while a small group of testers puts it through its paces. It is not publicly available yet. If you would like to be told when it is, email support@bucketsandbucks.app.
